Good to know before you book

What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?

Pressure washing uses force, which is what concrete and hard surfaces need to pull buildup out of the pores. Soft washing runs at about garden hose pressure and lets a cleaning solution do the work, which is what siding, painted surfaces and roofs need. Most homes need both, and we bring the right one to each surface. Power washing is the same idea, just a different word for it. If you are searching house pressure washing, this is the service you want, and we do it at low pressure so the siding is never the thing that pays for it.

What does the 90 day guarantee cover?

If algae or moss comes back on a surface we soft washed within 90 days of the service, call us and we re treat that area at no charge. It covers regrowth on what we cleaned. It does not cover new dirt, storm debris, or areas we did not treat.

How should I get ready before you arrive?

A few quick things help us work safely and efficiently.

  • Move vehicles out of the driveway and away from areas being cleaned.
  • Close all windows and doors.
  • Unlock gates so we can access the work areas.
  • Bring pets inside and keep them away from the work area.
  • Move patio furniture, toys, decorations and other small items away from the exterior when possible.
  • Make sure an exterior water spigot is accessible and working.
  • Turn off sprinklers during the appointment.
  • Let us know about delicate plants, damaged areas, loose siding, electrical concerns, or anything else we should be aware of.
Is soft washing safe for siding?

Yes. Soft washing runs at about the pressure of a garden hose. The cleaning solution does the work instead of force, so nothing gets driven up behind your siding and your paint is not stripped. It is the method siding manufacturers recommend.

What if my driveway or patio is larger than 500 sq ft?

No problem. Send us the address and we will measure it from satellite, then send you a flat price for the actual size. The listed price covers a standard driveway, and anything beyond that is quoted before we start.

What if my property has unusually heavy buildup?

Heavier growth takes more product and a second pass, so it can affect the price. We will tell you before we begin, not after. A couple of photos texted over is usually enough for us to know which category you are in.

Do I need to be home during the service?

No. We just need access to an outdoor water spigot and a clear path to the areas being cleaned. Most customers are at work. If you would rather walk the finished job with us, let us know and we will schedule around you.

How long does a typical cleaning take?

A standard driveway runs about an hour. A house soft wash is usually two to three hours. Gutters depend on the roofline and how packed they are. A full bundle is generally a half day.

How is my final price confirmed?
